I have used Lavender Gaia as my name since...2002? God, that seems like a long time. It was a name that my friend named and OC when we were still in that "every fic needs an OC" phase who ended up being exactly me against her will, so I started using it as a pen name.

Kelly because that's all my dad and aunt could agree on. My mother apparently didn't get a choice because she wanted to name me Francesca. Then I got Michelle because my dad's name is Michael. Which is still better than being a boy because I would have been Michael Jeffery (Dad + Uncle) or Michael Jordan.

Three cats, Rachel Ray the Destroyer of Worlds, Gizmo (who we just call Giz), and Misty. They are all incredibly needy and Rachel Ray is the smartest cat ever. I also have a dog named Sarina because she is the only dog I am not scared of.

3-5 things going on in my life
- I am trying to get my 30 hour certificate. The state of Florida is not making this easy.
- My best friend is home from college and I am deliriously happy to see her because I haven't seen her since my birthday.
- So many fic challenges. I am not as excited or motivated as I should be.
- girl!Sam. I just rewatched season one of Friday Night Lights for it. I feel I need therapy for this (as if I didn't already need a hell of a lot of therapy to begin with).
- I have depression. Have had it for years and it seems to be back and this is never a good thing.
- I made far too much pasta for lunch and now I'm not hungry anymore. And I don't care that this is six, my pasta is important.

parents
My father is a jackass. He makes John Winchester look like a good dad. We tend to go years without talking, then a few months where we're okay, and then we fight again. I've heard it's because we're too alike and that makes me want to kill myself. I'm better off without him.
My mother is an alcoholic and also nuttier than anyone you will ever meet. Like, literally clinically insane. But she's the only one who has stuck around so even though we fight all the time, I love her the most.

closest friends
- I am really really bad at making friends. I'm horribly shy, and I don't talk to people well. All of my friends I have had since middle school or freshman year. No real new friends, just a steady group. I love them lots.
